After 3 and a half years and 24 drafts later the debut feature film for Indianic Pictures is finally ready for pre-production. Turning Point will be the feature directorial debut for writer/director Brent Williams.

“While the process has been long and at times frustrating, ultimately it is the journey this story needed to take to ensure we were putting up the best possible film we could”, explains Brent.

The film is loosely based on a short film of the same title that was shot in 2008 and was widely seen as a trailer to something bigger. The film will tackle themes of cause and effect and asks the question “How far would you go?”

When asked about his motivation behind the story Mr Williams answered it this way. “My goal was to make the film seem as real as possible. The characters are normal people caught up in an extraordinary situation. The lengthy process of rewriting ultimately stemmed from my desire to make these characters as real as possible. I want the audience to not only sympathise with the characters but also to see themselves in there shoes and ask themselves what they would do in the same situation”

With the shooting scheduled locked off and a budget near completion the next step is to raise finance with two production companies already showing strong interest in supporting the project and raising the funds.
